Bhagavatam for human life

* The highest religious duty for a woman is to sincerely serve her husband, behave well toward her husband's family and take good care of her children.- Bhagavatam(10.29.24)

* By bathing, the body is purified; and by being cleansed, unclean things are purified. By purificatory ceremonies, birth is purified; by austerity, the senses are purified; and by worship and charity offered to the brahmaṇas, material possessions are purified. By satisfaction, the mind is purified; and by self-realization, or Kishna consciousness, the soul is purified. –Bhagavatam(10.5.4)

* The foundation of all the demigods is Lord Vishnu, who lives and is worshiped wherever there are religious principles, traditional culture, the Vedas, cows, brāhmaṇas, austerities, and sacrifices with proper remuneration. – Bhagavatam(10.4.39)

* When brahmaṇas are free from envy, untruthfulness, unnecessary pride, grudges, disturbance by the opulence of others, and false prestige, their blessings never go in vain.- Bhagavatam (10.7.13)

* The brahmaṇas, the cows, Vedic knowledge, austerity, truthfulness, control of the mind and senses, faith, mercy, tolerance and sacrifice are the different parts of the body of Lord Vishnu, and they are the paraphernalia for a godly civilization. – Bhagavatam(10.4.41)

* A man who, though able to do, fails to support his elderly parents, chaste wife, young child or spiritual master, or who neglects a brāhmaṇa or anyone who comes to him for shelter, is considered dead, though breathing. – Bhagavatam (10.45.7)

* As a disease, if initially neglected, becomes acute and impossible to cure, or as the senses, if not controlled at first, are impossible to control later, an enemy, if neglected in the beginning, later becomes insurmountable. - Bhagavatam(10.4.38)
